Case study: ilovegifts
The brief:
ilovegifts appointed Ratio7 to re-brand the Presence online shop under the new brand ilovegifts. They wanted to improve the online shopping experience for their customers, making it easier and more enjoyable to use the website which included adding a giftwrap and personalised card service to the site. The new branding should be fun, quirky and appeal to a large target audience.
The results:
A set of logos were created to reflect the new fun and quirky brand featuring a different icon for each department of the site. A stunning and easy to use design was created featuring a custom designed banner and an introduction for each category and sub-category resulting in a rich user experience. A simple flash animation was also added into the homepage to create interest and guide customers to the top selling ranges. Popup giftwrap and personalised card options were added into the Basket which has proved a big hit with the customers.
What did the customers think? Sales went up over 80% of course.
